I've decided to write about a comical side of all of us, that is GOSSIPING. I call it comical because it is an act that is liable for causing huge damage to any person, but it can never be challenged in any court of law for the caused damage.
Gossiping is a very natural talent that is packaged integrally in every person right from the birth!! Though the talent is ingrained naturally, still, there is a kind of vulnereability in every person who gossips. The vulnereability is of the gossip monger who tries to hide one's own short comings by talking about the other person's short comings!
I thought that gossiping can be categorized... I have categorized it to the "intelligent gossiping" and the "idle gossiping ". Since I've come to the extent of categorizing gossiping, I thought, I owe the responsibility of defining the types too. Not doing so might trouble your mind about what category does your gossiping belong to!
Intelligent gossiping is a form that involves distinguishing and discussing the normal from the abnormal or the usual from the unusual. Whenever you discuss the mannerism or the peculiar behavior of your colleague, boss, or any acquiantance, I term that to be indulging in intelligent gossiping :-). The intelligence part of this gossiping is that you are defining the rules of acceptance in your little social world. You along with your gossip monger friends, set the trend of what is socially accepted and what is not!
Idle gossiping is what most of us find more easy and relaxing. This type of gossiping involves simple cheap discussions about somebody's personal life or you might smear joy by spinning untrue stories.
My thoughts on this topic couldn't conclude about whether gossiping is a virtue or a vice, but if you have an opinion or a contradiction to my thought, then ramble it out here.
